What does the finish look like?

Parts are made layer by layer, so fine horizontal layer lines are normal, especially on curved surfaces. We choose layer heights to balance detail and print time. Pieces are not sanded or painted unless your quote says so.

How many colors can a piece have?

Up to four filament colors per print where practical, using the AMS system. Color changes follow the layers, so very small painted-style details, gradients or photo-realistic color are not possible.

How many pieces can you make?

Production runs on a single desktop printer, so capacity is limited. Small batches (for example 10–50 award pieces) may be possible depending on size and timeline — we will tell you honestly if a request is beyond what we can do.

Can you make precise engineering parts?

We focus on artistic and display pieces. Dimension-critical mechanical parts, load-bearing components and precision CAD work are not our specialty, and we may decline them.

How long does it take?

Turnaround varies with complexity, design time, quantity and the current queue. We will give an estimated timeline with your quote; it is not a guarantee until confirmed in writing.

Do you ship?

Local pickup in the Austin / Round Rock area is available by arrangement. Shipping within the U.S. may be offered, subject to order acceptance; shipping cost is quoted separately.

Question 7

Can I send a logo or character to print?

Accepted Answer

Only if you own it or have permission to use it. We do not print unlicensed copyrighted characters, trademarks or counterfeit designs. For STL/3MF files, you must have the right to have them printed (check the model's license).

How do design proofs and revisions work?

Before printing, you approve a digital proof. Your quote states how many revision rounds are included; extra rounds or major changes may affect price.

Question 9

What is your refund policy for custom work?

Accepted Answer

Because each piece is made to your approved proof, custom work generally cannot be returned for change of mind. If something arrives damaged or differs from the approved proof, contact us and we will work toward a fair fix. Specific terms are stated in your quote.

Do I pay a deposit? What if I cancel?

For larger or custom-design orders, a deposit may be required before production begins — your written quote will state it. If you cancel before production starts, we will work with you fairly; once printing has begun, deposits may be non-refundable. The exact terms are confirmed in your quote before you commit.

Is submitting the quote form an order?

No. A quote request is free and non-binding. An order exists only after you approve a written quote and design proof, and any required deposit or payment arrangement is complete.

Question 12

What materials do you use?

Mainly PLA and PETG filaments, chosen per project. Prints are decorative and are not certified safe for food, drink, medication or cosmetic contact.

Is there anything you won't print?

Yes: weapons or weapon parts, unsafe or regulated items, counterfeit or infringing designs, and anything we judge inappropriate. We may decline any request.

Do you use AI?

Accepted Answer

We use AI-assisted digital design tools, including Meshy AI when appropriate, to explore creative concepts. AI-generated concepts are not automatically printable: a person reviews every design for licensing and printability, and refinement or modifications may be needed. Not every design can be produced, and this website does not offer instant AI generation or a direct Meshy integration.
